레벨 Beginner
Coding is the new literacy! Let's learn it! In this beginner FLEX class, students will get a new video each week. They can follow along step by step to complete their weekly projects. They will also get support from the teacher and other students. The student will learn coding and animation by creating fun interactive projects in Scratch (Scratch is a free programming language and online community where kids can create interactive stories, games, and animations.) Your learners can watch the lesson videos at their own pace whenever and wherever they want. Students will share their Scratch files or the link to their shared projects in the classroom and receive feedback from the teacher. They will interact with each other by commenting on each other's Scratch projects in the Outschool classroom. Your learner will get - Prerecorded videos of the lessons - Help from the teacher during the week within 24 hours of posting your question. - Access to Outschool classroom to share projects and get feedback from the teacher and constructive comments from other students Week 1: Getting familiar with the Scratch coding interface, learning about good design and composition, using sprites, adding simple code blocks to their sprites, and saving and sharing their project Week 2: Coding a name and adding backdrop and design elements to their project. Week 3: Animating flying animals Week 4: Making a dress-up game No prior coding experience is required. Knowing how to click, right-click, drag, and drop is required.
