Each time this class is held it will focus on a different writing component or skill. The students will learn how to incorporate this skill into their writing. The students will brainstorm and collaborate with one another to give suggestions when planning their writing. The students will receive feedback from their peers as well as the teacher after writing independently. While writing, the students will practice skills such as incorporating dialogue, sequencing, improving word choice, how to hook your readers, developing strong endings, and varying types of sentence usage. The students will socialize with one another while planning their writing.
Education- Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction Certification- Elementary School, Spanish K-12, ESOL K-12 Experience- I am currently in my fourth year teaching on Outschool. I have 10 years teaching experience as a public school teacher. For the last five years I have been a stay-at-home parent to my two young children. This year, I made my return to the classroom.
