Welcome to "Illustration-Driven Creative Writing Clinic: Write Your Own Story!" Many children struggle with motivation to write a creative story. 

A blank page sitting in front of them can be overwhelming with deciding where to start. Having the illustrations already provided helps to get those creative brain cells turning. 

In this class, budding writers will be able to create their own unique stories, name the characters, dictate motivations and decide on their own satisfying (or silly) endings.

Each session is tailored to your child's interests and writing level, ensuring a personalized and supportive environment.

Here's what to expect:

First, your child will be provided an illustrated book without words. We will first flip through the book to and point out things they notice, sparking their imagination and setting the stage for their storytelling adventure.

We will discuss their thoughts and brainstorm over what they think is happening and any twists they would like the story to have. 

With individualized attention, we will work on developing their storytelling skills, offering feedback and encouragement every step of the way. According to their level, I will offer suggestions for vocabulary and descriptive details.

At the end, your child will have the opportunity to share their crafted stories, celebrating their creativity and unique storytelling voice with a printable PDF.
