In this one-on-one IELTS class, I help learners to improve their speaking and writing to reach a Band 7+ or higher. Each class is personalized to target the learner’s specific needs, with a focus on fluency, coherence, vocabulary, grammar, and task response. We will cover real IELTS Speaking and Writing topics (like environment, education, business, and culture), and I’ll teach advanced strategies for Part 2 cue cards, Part 3 discussions, and high-level writing tasks (Task 1 & Task 2). The class is structured around short diagnostic activities followed by focused practice. I give lots of feedback and explain how to improve using examples and models. My teaching style is clear, supportive, and goal-oriented. I use slides, video clips, speaking practice, interactive exercises, and real test samples. Learners will interact with me throughout the class—not just listening, but speaking, writing, and reflecting on feedback in real time. Each lesson is fully customized to the learner’s progress, and I provide optional practice to do between classes to keep improving.

I am an experienced IELTS instructor with over 30 years of teaching academic English and exam preparation. I specialize in helping learners move from Band 6–7 to Band 7+, with a strong focus on Speaking and Writing performance.
I hold a PHD in Education, a CELTA, DELTA Module 1, a MA Applied Linguistics TEFLq and have worked with students from around the world, both in private classes and in institutional settings. I have in-depth knowledge of IELTS marking criteria and understand what examiners look for at each band level.
My approach is practical, learner-centered, and results-driven. I use real IELTS materials, targeted skills training, and ongoing performance feedback to help learners build confidence, avoid common mistakes, and reach their target band score.
I have helped many students achieve their IELTS goals for university admissions, immigration, and professional purposes, and I’m passionate about making the path to Band 7+ clear, structured, and achievable.
