수업 소개

In this interactive guitar lesson, student's will be working through the classic song "I Love Rock 'N Roll" by Joan Jett.
Guitar "tab" style music sheets will be provided via download in the Outschool classroom. 
Students should be familiar with how to tune their guitars ***tuning guitars beforehand allows for more time to rock out during class***
Both acoustic and electric guitarists are welcome :)

"I Love Rock 'N Roll" is a riff-based song, incorporating lots of single note playing. The class will place a lot of focus on rhythm and timing, thus serving as a very foundational course to the beginning guitarist.

Students will learn how to play a new song using a "tab" style music sheet that they will be able to keep even after class time has expired.

I’ve been teaching private lessons for the better part of ten years.

As a self taught musician - turned - instructor,  I aim to present learning music as less of a task and more of a gateway into the world of art as a whole. Sure, I tried the beginners books and things of the like. But what really fanned the flame was learning a song that I already enjoyed by a band I already loved. I take the same approach in my teaching. I want to, as quickly as possible, have the learner playing songs they will enjoy.
