This class is for beginners and learners new to coding. Students will learn to do basic coding using the app. Scratch Jr. while trying to build a snowman with a wintery background. Then, we will go to the app and break it down by exploring each function. I will break it down into simple steps by modeling it step by step as students follow along and create a slide. I have a master’s degree plus 30. I am certified in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, learning disabilities and Primary Montessori. I have attended Pathfinders month long summer institute for three years where we get specific and direct training on Scratch Jr, Scratch and coding.
