Wouldn’t it be great to have a personalized book detailing all the reasons that you are fantastic and all the ways you make a positive difference in the world? Well, that is exactly what we will be doing in this 5 lesson class! The class is designed to teach children the truth about the amazing, powerful, creative beings that they are! We will cover important concepts like affirmations, positive beliefs, kindness, and gratitude and use these concepts to create individualized keepsake books celebrating each child! Once you enroll in this class, I will send you a PDF file to print. The file is a 36 page journal keepsake that we will discuss and complete in class. (Please note: there are two styles of journals available, so your student can choose the one that best represents them: Groovy Flower or Retro design. There are samples of both in the video section). The journal includes pages such as: *All that I am (affirmations for greatness) *Things I love about myself *All the people I love *My favorite person to spend time with *I can make a difference in the world by... *Activities that make me feel happy and peaceful *I feel healthy and strong when I ... *I can do hard things! (accomplishments that I am proud of) *I am learning how to…. *I am so grateful! *A Thank You letter to someone I appreciate *Acts of Kindness *Spread kindness everywhere you go *Ways I can make a difference in the world around me *AND more! Students will also work on art pages of their very own including designing an affirmation mandala, meditative coloring pages, drawing and picture collaging. By the end of the class they will have an beautiful book of their own creation all about THEM! This insightful book will be a true piece of art, helping them to identify and recognize everything that makes them the beautiful person that they are! These books are empowering for children because they prove, page by page, just how present love is in their lives, how powerful they are as a source for spreading love in the world, how capable they are of doing hard things and achieving their goals, and how much they have to be grateful for!

This class incorporates important mindfulness techniques such as affirmations, gratitude, self-care, and being a presence of love, along with growth mindset techniques such as focusing on what children have achieved and what they are learning and working on now. All of this comes together with personal artwork, writing and images to create a beautiful scrapbook that reinforces self-love, confidence, and resilience.

Students can either paste completed pages into a nice scrapbook or they can bind them once the class is complete. Students will need coloring supplies of their choice, a pen or pencil, as well as any additional stickers or decorations that they want to add to their book. They will also need access some printed photos of themselves (and family or friends).

Hi! My name is Jeana and I have a deep passion for teaching children of all ages (including adults!) about habits and mindsets that can help them to create their very best lives! I have seen firsthand in my own life, and in the lives of my four children, how incredibly powerful our minds are in creating our reality. I love teaching about the tools that help us to create and sustain positive thoughts and beliefs that lead to positive life experiences!
I also love writing! Writing is not only an essential skill that you will use your entire life, but it is also a wonderful form of creative expression. I love helping others find their inner writer! Children are naturally so imaginative, when they put this to use in their writing amazing things happen!
I have always been an educator. In previous chapters of my life I gained my masters from Harvard Graduate School of Education. For the past sixteen years, I have dedicated myself to home educating my children. I am passionate about lifelong learning, about seeking out new ways of approaching life and sharing this knowledge with others. Knowing that we are in charge of our lives, fully and completely, is one of the most empowering realizations we can have in this lifetime.
My teaching philosophy is that you learn best when you are actively engaged in the process. Therefore my classes incorporate plenty of activities and exercises to keep students engaged and reinforce the skills they are learning. My hope is that the skills, tools, and ideas that I share will become an integral part of each student’s life.
My favorite things to do include spending time with my kids (of course!), writing, hiking, practicing and teaching yoga, being outdoors, and trying new things! A fun fact about me is that I use the tools that I teach in my life every single day!리뷰
