Students will meet weekly to discuss the assigned reading/topic and any outside research they may have. This conversation will be largely driven by the chapter themes they found the most interesting. The teacher will act as a guide, asking thought provoking questions and balancing the conversations. The student needs a copy of the text "A Young People's History of The United States" by Howard Zinn. If reading is a challenge, please let me know and I will provide a link (no cost) to the book being read aloud on YouTube.
