There are so many varying scholarship prompts that it can be rather overwhelming to deal with! A scholarship essay needs to shine with your personality while also addressing the specific question that has been posed to you. How do you convey who you are and what you're about in one essay? How do you grab (and keep) the attention of the person judging your essay? In this one time class, students can bring either a scholarship essay prompt (or multiple), or a concept/idea that they would like to write about. I will help students brainstorm and outline their essays. I can also cover how to re-adjust and re-use their essay for multiple scholarship applications. With a bit of tweaking, one scholarship essay can easily fit the needs of several different contests! Class sizes are kept small in order to offer a very personalized experience.

Students will gain a better understanding of the expected structure and content of scholarship essays. They will receive personalized guidance brainstorming and outlining their essays.
