In this 5-week series, students will learn how to write a basic paragraph. They will learn the criteria that make a paragraph a paragraph.
1. Topic Sentence (introduce your topic)
2. First supporting detail
3. Second supporting detail
4. Third supporting detail
5. Concluding Statement (restates your topic)
Learners will be able to identify the different parts of a paragraph.
They will also be taught how to add details to their paragraphs through adding adjectives and adverbs...I have over 20 years experience in the education field, specifically in teaching students to read, write and spell. I am a certified Orton-Gillingham Therapeutic Tutor and I also offer writing classes to local students in my area. I am a homeschool mom to my 3 children for the past 10 years.
