Enrolled students will be expected to already have a level of proficiency equivalent to being at the end of Violin or Viola Suzuki Volume 1. The student should already be able to through the whole piece at a steady tempo. It may even be a slow tempo. This class will start with a brief introduction, followed by each student having a 15-minute time slot to perform the piece without the repeats or Da Capo (to save class time) and receive instruction from the teacher. Students should have the Suzuki Violin or Viola Volume 1 (whichever instrument they play), which includes Gossec Gavotte as the last piece. Measure numbers will be referred to during class, so it will helpful for the student to have this opened and visible.
