If the students desire to complete experiments along with me, parental supervision/oversight is suggested. All supplies are safe and common household items, however, the sequence of events are important for experiment success and fun. Students and parents are advised household chemicals and/or foods may cause sensitivity or allergy in some learners or individuals. Parental supervision and awareness of any allergies or other issues is encouraged.
I am a middle school and high school math and science teacher with 10 years of experience. Additionally, I am a homeschooling dad of 13+years who has four kids that are four different types of learners. I have the privilege to teach many subject areas, but geology & chemistry are my favorite as they applies to all other areas of science. My opinion is that if a student understands the these major concepts, other sciences become more clear. I hold a MS and BS in the natural sciences.
