Students will learn how to draw a Rock Crab using Procreate, one of the most advanced, yet simple and affordable drawing applications available! The class will be taught by award-winning artist and photographer, Bryan Niven, as he breaks down his step-by-step process, of layering color, texture, shadow and highlights. Please refer to the “Learning Goals” below to see process details. This class is live, and will utilize both face-to-face, and screen-sharing technology through Zoom. This will allow students to interact directly with the instructor, and see his actual process while drawing on his iPad. As students draw, they will also learn about the incredible Rock Crab found along the coast of California. Studies show that students retain information better when they learn about a topic while drawing.
