Our camp will feature the following topics: Science & Nature: Meet a real horse - Learn about what he eats, his daily schedule and how to stay safe at a horse farm. Sports: Types of riding - videos and a look at real equipment, unmounted exercises to imagine what it’s like to ride and jump! Arts and Crafts: Make a horse barn busy book with a cereal box and basic supplies. Language: Learn how to “speak” horse as we explore the ways that our equine friends communicate with each other and humans. Social Studies: Learn about breeds of the world and how horses are involved in daily life. We will watch videos as we go on a virtual vacation to visit our equine friends abroad. English and Reading: Learn parts of the horse in an interactive game and end our final session with a story about horses and new friendships.

Students will learn all about horses while participating in activities in most subjects—from art and reading to language and social studies.
