Looking for a fun, hands-on, and Reggio Inspired online 1st Grade for your child to supplement their at-home learning with you? Check out this class! For over 10 years we have worked with Early Childhood aged homeschoolers in a microschool co-op Ms. Iman started. Our curriculum is engaging, project-based, and sparks wonder in our students. Our curriculum covers the following: 🌈Language Arts Skills 🌈 Math Skills 🌈Social Emotional Skills 🌈Vocabulary Skills 🌈Writing Skills 🌈Science & Sensory Skills 🌈Reading Comprehension Skills During this class students will be able to build connections and friendships with peers while having fun learning all the skills they need to know before 2nd Grade. Our courses are short and done with very small groups of learners so students can really have the chance to have the attention of the teacher. Each class covers the following Day 1: Math Day 2: English Language Arts and Writing Skills, Building Comprehension Day 3: Project Based Learning Activity I pride myself on being a loving, engaging, and Kind teacher as do all of our teachers at Kind Academy. We value student opinions and like them to have a chance to interact with each other. Our teachers use hands on props, videos, songs, and stories to engage with learners.

Students will improve their understanding of social skills, taking turns, asking questions, enjoy learning, learn numbers, learn letters, and build fine motor skills.
Students will also be more inspired to engage with nature, more observant, and typically more focused.

Mathseeds is an online learning program that is optional for use for this course. Students get a free account with this course after a week of sign up. This is completely optional and up to the parent if they choose to use it at home.

Clay or Playdough White Glue Glue sticks Markers Tempera Paint A tray Cardstock Paper Dry Erase Board Dry Erase Marker Crayons Craft Materials Nature treasures like rocks, sticks, leaves to be collected A printer is not necessary for this course and all materials can usually be supplemented so please do not worry if you don't have access to something on this list. Just let us know and we will be happy to suggest alternatives.
