Let's learn about the American Civil War and have fun at the same time! In this one time class 30 minute class we will do just that. We will play BINGO and as each number is called an interesting fact about the American Civil War will be displayed on a PowerPoint, and read aloud by the teacher for the learners to hear. Learners will receive a PDF with two BINGO card before class to print out. But if they would prefer they can instead bring their own cards to use during class. This is a fun way for learners to learn about the American Civil War without realizing it. #academic

I am a former Home School student who has never stopped learning! I love history and telling stories verbally and through writing, and I want to share that passion with others. I believe the statement is true: “Those who don’t learn from History are doomed to repeat it.” We need to learn from the past to shape our own futures and the world in general. I believe the best way to learn about history is to learn about the people who lived through it and what they experienced and tell their stories. I love telling stories through writing and enjoy public speaking, so storytelling is a natural combination of the two.
I have 4 years of teaching experience in a variety of places from teaching/coaching drama and dance for homeschoolers in a group setting, to homeschooling two young children for a few months, to teaching English as Second Language (ESL) to college students, to teaching Arts and Crafts at a Summer Camp. I am currently a ESL teacher online with VIPKid. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Communication from Stevenson University.
I love to travel both in the US and internationally. I’ve spent time in almost every state on the East Coast and driven through the rest. I’ve visited seven different countries and lived in Asia for 17 months. 리뷰
