At the end of the semester, learners can request a final grade report. Learners must be enrolled in the class for at least four novels (two units), and must have submitted at least two essays and/or projects to qualify. I am unable to accurately assess a student's performance otherwise. Grades will be an average of: class participation, in-class writing, and essay/project grades, weighted evenly. Grade reports will include a written report as well as letter/number grades.보고계신 지문은 자동 번역 되었습니다

This approach encourages critical engagement and helps learners build confidence in their analytical skills. 🌟 Interaction 🌟 The course mimics college-level literature discussions, fostering active engagement and creating a dynamic, supportive peer-learning community. 🌟 Prior Knowledge 🌟 No prior knowledge is necessary; however, learners should be comfortable reading high school-level novels within a four-week timeframe. 🌟 A Note About Content 🌟 Given the nature of these novels, sensitive themes may arise. My teaching "manifesto":
Teaching humanities is my greatest passion! I work to instill in my students a love of reading, writing, and deep thinking that goes beyond the classroom. I believe that all students can achieve academic success and become life-long learners, regardless of their backgrounds or their learning needs. I am passionate about inclusive classrooms that bring a wide range of students together, where we can all learn from each other and enrich each other's lives.
As a teacher, I focus on core reading, writing, and critical thinking skills that prepare students for college-level studies. However, I also believe that we all learn best when learning is social and enjoyable. To that end, I take creative and discussion-based approaches to teaching and I infuse classes with students' interests wherever possible.
