수업 소개
In this fun and engaging class, students will learn greetings in English, as we meet our new monster friends. Students will learn important basic vocabulary words and sentences that they will be able to use in everyday life. I like to make my teaching fun and engaging for the students. That's why I created an interactive slide show including fun games to practice each new concepts. In this class, the students will interact with their classmates and Teacher Laurie by asking each other questions such as "How are you?" and "What's your name?". Although the students are just starting to learn English, they will have plenty of opportunities to speak in class. This one time class is designed for students who have very little or no prior knowledge of English.

Hello!
My name is Lauriane but my students call me Teacher Laurie. I have a bachelor's degree in Fundamentals and Methodology of Education and a TESOL certificate. I have been teaching English as a second language in person and online for over 4 years and I absolutely love it! I believe that learning a language should be fun and interactive. That’s why my classes include games, songs and videos to help the students remember what they are learning.
While living in the Dominican Republic, I had to learn different languages. I can now speak English, French, Spanish and Haitian Creole. This has helped me understand the challenges we face when we learn a new language and also develop effective ways to learn faster!
