Grab your wand and apron for a magical cooking adventure! 🪄🧑🏼🍳 In this 5-week self-paced course, students will create 11 Harry Potter-inspired treats—from owl cupcakes to tasty pumpkin juice and more! This class is perfect for young witches and wizards who love baking and want to bring a little magic into the kitchen. Course Overview: Each week, students will: ✴️Watch a short instructional video that walks them through making that week’s magical recipes. ✴️Follow the recipe on their own (with the option to rewatch the video as needed). ✴️Complete 1-3 recipes per week, for a total of 11 delicious treats over the course of 5 weeks! This is a self-paced course, meaning there are no live meetings. Students can complete each week’s lessons on their own time. Depending on the student’s age and ability, they may need an adult to help with some steps. Support: I’ll be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for questions or messages. Please note, if you message on a different day, you may not hear back until the next available day. I do try to check messages often but please plan for a response on the listed days. Important Details: Syllabus: The syllabus includes a breakdown of each week’s recipes and themes. Supply List: Make sure to review the supply list for the ingredients and materials needed each week. Allergy Notice: Some recipes may contain ingredients that are food-sensitive or allergy-prone. Please read through the ingredients list each week and make any necessary adjustments to accommodate allergies. Students will be melting chocolate, making hard candy/boiling sugar on the stove, using knives, scissors, boiling water, using the microwave and using the oven. Younger students may need help with doing some of these tasks and supervision.
