수업 소개
In this one time class learners will meet for 30 minutes to engage in Easter theme activities, including a scavenger hunt and an ASL signing Easter story time. We will learn how to share something we like about Easter in ASL. We will find items around the home with an ASL sign and find scavenger hunt. We will share in our excitement over the Easter season and practice how to sign Happy Easter and a list of signs that go with the theme. The teaching style is interactive and we will practice all signs together. This class uses a combination of PowerPoint and a worksheet with pictures of our signed words, games and stories to learn and practice the signs we learn.

I received my bachelors degree for health sciences for Speech Pathology. I attended a post bachelors degree for ASL Sign language Interpreting Training. I received my certificate for ASL Interpreting. I have 3 years experience as an ASL interpreter in an educational setting. I also instructed an ASL program at an early learning center. I have taught basics to ASL and several classes incorporating ASL on Outschool for 3 years. I have worked with kids and young adults with developmental disabilities , Autism and nonverbal students with supporting communication needs using AAC devices and ASL .
