Happy Birthday, Ohio! This state turns 220 years old on March 1st. To celebrate, we will briefly explore what makes this state great. Students will learn about Ohio's capital, age and birthday, nickname, motto, flag, and state bird/mammal/flower. We will also listen to Ohio's state song and learn some interesting facts. We will be learning the state's nickname and motto, which are found on Ohio's official website. We will also be learning about the state mammal, flower, and bird which can be found in the same place. We will color in the state flag, also found on the state website. We will listen to 5 interesting fun facts created by the academic Youtube channel, Studies Weekly, and listening to the official state song with the DN Anthems Youtube channel.
