We will learn some Kawaii-style drawing to make some very cute Halloween characters. We will draw in real time and learn the steps for drawing six different characters (or more if time allows). Drawing skills that we will practice include: pencil sketching, sighting/measuring, color gradient, and ink outlining. Students will improve drawing skills such as proportion, sketching, finalizing shapes, and color gradient. The characters we will draw are candy corn, a lollipop, ghost, bat, pumpkin, and a cute skull. Students will also practice conversation skills and enjoy a relaxing activity.
Pencils, eraser, white paper, crayons or colored pencils, and a black pen (preferably gel-pen or fine-tip black marker).
