Halloween will not be the same this year but doesn’t mean your little ones can’t have some fun! In this one time class, learners will come dressed up in their favourite Halloween costume, the scarier the better! The class is packed full of activities.... we will start will each learner showing off their costume and talking a bit about why they chose it! We’ll then do an ingredient check for the dish that will be created which is delicious pumpkin chocolate chip muffins with Halloween glaze...
Ingredients 1/2 cup of Sugar 1/2 cup of All Purpose Flour 4 tbsp of Vegetable Oil 1 Egg 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract 3/8 cup of Pure Pumpkin Puree 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice 1/2 tsp of Baking Soda 1/4 tsp of Baking Powder 3/4 cup chocolate chips Pinch of Salt For decorating muffins Powdered Sugar (confectioner’s sugar or icing sugar) A liquid of your choosing to thin the glaze (such as water, milk or liquid food colour) Vanilla extract Spooky sprinkles Equipment Workmat Mixing bowls - 2 Whisk or fork Spatula Measuring cups and spoons Spoons Oven gloves (for adult use)
