Join this ongoing class at any time; we will learn one new song in each class meeting. This class is for students who already have some beginner experience playing guitar and can hold their own reading chord frame diagrams. Students will be walked through how to play each individual chord, and then how to play the chord progression to the song. Students will receive individualized assistance and will have practice time during class to work at their own pace. Students who subscribe to the class on a weekly basis will get to know the other learners in this small group class. Practice materials for each song will be provided to learners after class. Students are encouraged to submit their own song requests for future classes. Chord progressions for February/March classes: February 19: Ocean Eyes (Billie Eilish) February 26: Stargazing (Myles Smith) March 5: I'm Yours (Jason Mraz) March 12: Beautiful Things (Benson Boone) March 19: Lost Boy (Ruth B) March 26: Paperback Writer (The Beatles)
학습 목표
Students will learn how to play along to the chord progressions for one song in each class meeting. Students are encouraged to sing along if they'd like to do so.

Song lists are published one month in advance. Parents are encouraged to review upcoming song content regularly.
사전 요구 사항
Students should have a working knowledge of how to read and play open chords from a chord diagram. This information is covered in my Guitar for Beginners Level 1 course.
수업 자료
Students will need their own classical, acoustic or electric guitar. Many inexpensive starter instruments can be found online; message me if you would like assistance in selecting one. The guitar must be functional and have all six strings.
