In this ongoing beginner guitar class, we will learn to play songs and chords. Absolutely no experience is necessary and you can come in and out of class at any time. 

Sample schedule for the first 4 weeks of class:
Week of November 28 - The E strings - Learn the highest and lowest strings and the sounds they make
Week of December 5 - The B string - What notes are on the B string? How do we know what fret to go to in order to change the sound?
Week of December 12 - Chords - Some guitar players like to strum chords, and others like to play the tune. We will experiment with simple chords in this class.
Week of December 19 - One-string songs - We will learn to play a simple song on only one string in this class.

The above is only an example as the focus of the class will be learner-directed.

All learners MUST have an appropriate size guitar - 3 string guitars are fine for this class, as are 6 string guitars. This class is NOT suitable for ukulele or guitalele. Please message before enrolling if you have any questions.
