In this guided drawing class, students will create a fun painting of a pair of flip flops on the beach. I teach through: tell, show, do, feedback (a method I learned in my time with Starbucks, a long time ago) I find that students learn in a variety of ways (hearing, seeing and doing).  This practice allows every student to learn in their own unique way. I will teach the steps to creating a fun painting of a pair of flip flops on the beach from start to finish on paper using colored pencils. Feedback is essential to artists ( and learners!), I love doing gallery walks where students can share their artwork and get praise and critiques from their peers (what they did well, what they can improve on etc).
