그룹 초보자 보컬 수업: 노래와 보컬 레슨 소개

Has your learner expressed an interest in singing or taking voice lessons? This class is a great first step to letting your singer shine. Let's learn what to expect when it comes to voice lessons and explore the basic fundamentals of singing in a super fun group setting. 

Class will begin with a social circle. Learners will be guided through a welcome chat sharing the name of their favourite song to sing while meeting their fellow classmates. 

Next we will dive into a brief overview of exactly how we make sound when speaking and singing. A colouring printout will be included in the classroom page to help us understand some of the science behind our voice. Please feel free to have it printed beside you for classtime as a follow-along guide, or to colour it before or after class.

Next we discuss the importance of a physical warmup. We will stand up and shake our sillies out as we follow various exercises guided by Miss Jaymee. Singer’s stance is then explored. We will discuss topics like what is it, why is it important, and follow a step by step “how-to” guide. Next, breath support is introduced as simple breathing exercises are followed. 

Finally we are ready to sing! Learners will be encouraged to explore their voice as a series of vocal exercises are followed. We will hum, siren, ooo, eee, ahh and more. Fun tongue twisters will be introduced and practiced and learners will be encouraged to share one solo for the class. Please be ready to help your learner with the unmute button at this point. Finally, we will work on singing a preselected Disney song through call and answer exercises where learners will be encouraged to sing a solo line for the class if they are comfortable doing so. Miss Jaymee will include lyrics to be followed along with prior to class start time so please have them printed beside you or easily accessible for this portion of the class if possible. We will end our lesson with a final singalong performance of our preselected Disney song as a group. We will not get through the entire song today, this is standard when learning music. 

*Please note: A familiarity with the microphone button (mute + unmute) will be beneficial for this class as I allow our leaners opportunities to share, speak and sing solo during interactive moments throughout class. However, learners may be kept on mute during music and explanation portions of class to eliminate the inevitable delay, echo, and feedback in everyones speakers.

*Please be on time as this class runs on a very tight schedule and can be tricky to catch up on missed material with other learners who are on time. If possible please private message me ahead of time if you are going to be a few minutes late and I can try to accommodate.
