이 수업은 고등학교 기하학 커리큘럼 전체를 다룹니다. 여름 수업은 학생이 학년을 준비할 수 있도록 여름 사전 학습을 다룹니다. 9월부터 전체 과정 모듈이 5월까지 진행됩니다. 주제는 다음과 같습니다. 원의 면적, 구, 타원을 포함한 원 정리, 내접 외접, 현, 호, 할선, 접선, 정리(수직 접선, 수직 지름, 합동 현, 합동 접선 선분, 내접 각, 접선 현, 외교점, 현의 곱, 할선 할선, 할선 접선, 현에 의해 형성된 비중심 각, 접선 및 할선에 의해 형성된 외각) - 각 모듈은 학습자가 길을 잃지 않고 언제든지 뛰어들어 전체 과정을 학습할 수 있도록 순환 일정에 따라 독립적으로 가르칩니다.

With each weekly session, I will walk students through needed skills for Analytical Geometry-- with topics that cover everything needed for Analytic Geometry full course from rigid transformations, to triangles, to. With each topic, I will first walk through the steps needed to do the work, and then we will work through problems progressing from the easiest to the most difficult. Sessions are highly interactive, as I take time to ensure mastery and understanding along the way. Every problem that learners get stuck on is met with optimism and encouragement. These are opportunities for everyone to learn. Topics will be covered on the following schedule... I teach each unit independently so that if your student is just jumping into geometry, they won't be lost. Learners can rotate through all 26 weeks and use this for course credit in a homeschooling program. If you need certification of completion from a teacher, I'm happy to help for families who have completed the work! Summer 2023 schedule Week 1 : Transformations in the Coordinate Plane - Reflections and Translations Week 2 : Transformations in the Coordinate Plane - Rotations and Dilations Week 3-4 : Circle Theorems Week 5-6 : Proofs and Theorems Week 7 : Defining Geometric Terms Week 8 : Midpoint and Distance Week 9-10: Parallel and Perpendicular Angles Week 11-12: Triangle Congruence

Note that the Thursday 11AM session continues to meet under the old format of 40 minutes once per week because these students have been on the same schedule since spring of 2021. All other sections will be twice a week for 25 minutes per week.

It's a tutoring session. The parents and student determine the content within the constraints of Geometry.
수업 자료
Learners should have a graphing calculator (TI-84 or similar), a compass, and a protractor. It's a good idea to always have pencil and paper when taking a math class. Most learners assume it, but as a parent, perhaps remind them because I notice that many times students are having to run in the other room to look for tools to write with and paper to write on. The compass is good to have on hand because I insert into the teaching lots of points where we pull out the compass and draw what we are talking about. Students really enjoy this but it only works if the compass is right there for them to use.
