Every day in this summer camp is a crash course in graphic design, brand identity, digital art tools, and marketing strategies-- vital pieces of building a business! You'll learn the skills you need to advertise your business, share on social media, and design professional-looking products. 

Beginners who have not yet mastered any digital art program are welcome! Students who are already proficient in at least one digital art program will be MORE successful in this class, but it is NOT required. Students will learn how to use Canva in class. Parents will need to open an account at Canva.com, and if you use an iPad or phone, install the app.

Each class will open with introductions, a quick overview of brand identity as it relates to graphic design and entrepreneurship, and then a demonstration of how to use Canva, Graphite, and/or Photopea to make the project.

Day 1:  Inventing your business &  brand identity
 * Marketing, Target Audience
 * Products Brainstorm
 * Business Name & Slogan
 * Logo Design in Canva
 * Fonts & Feelings

Day 2:  Merch
 * T-shirt Design
 * BONUS: Paper bags, Tote bags, or Bumper Stickers
 * Saving a screenshot in Photopea (or Photoshop)

Day 3:  Social Media Ads 
 * Tailoring your Ad to an Audience
 * Selling a brand
 * Grids & Columns

Day 4:  Animated & Video Ads
 * Canva video templates
 * Using stock footage
 * Making it all match

Learners who have completed CAMP 1 are eligible to attend CAMP 2.
