In this lesson, learners will have fun listening to "Miss Spell and the Evil Dr. ED," a silly grammar story written by me, Teacher Shannon. The evil Miss Spell is back to cause problems for the students of Everyday Elementary, but she's not alone. Will the Evil Dr. ED take away the three sounds of -ed? Let's find out! After the book, we will play an interactive game, where the students get to control the screen using their computer mouse or touchpad. Students will get to practice listening...
Students will improve their understanding of the three sounds of -ed. They will also be able to listen to a story and share words with the three sounds from the story. Students will get to practice listening for the three sounds of -ed during an interactive game. Finally, students will be able to sort words with the three sounds.
