Assessment in this ASL course will be conducted through quizzes, tests, homework assignments, and projects to measure learners' progress in receptive and expressive skills, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding. Projects will provide opportunities for deeper exploration of ASL concepts and cultural aspects. Assessment criteria will be clearly outlined, and feedback will be provided to guide learners' development. Grades are available upon request, but the focus remains on students' pursuit of skill mastery.
Completion of a Beginners' ASL course or a fundamental grasp of ASL basics including the manual alphabet, numbers, sentence structure, and common everyday signs is required.

Throughout this 8-week course, learners will utilize the Flip, Nearpod, and Signing Savvy dictionary apps for completing homework assignments and practicing their ASL proficiency. Flip, and Signing Savvy does not require the learners to set up an account. We will be using the app Flip to complete homework and for vocabulary review. For Flip usage, I will issue a Flip badge code for the learner to have access. https://flipgrid.com Signing Savvy is a free ASL dictionary. Account sign-up is not necessary for usage. https://www.signingsavvy.com
