This summer, let’s dive into an exciting review of Grade 3 ELA to strengthen skills and get ready for the next school year! In this interactive 4-week course, students will practice reading, spelling, grammar, writing, comprehension, and word study through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions. Whether reviewing familiar concepts or tackling new challenges, this camp will help learners build confidence and avoid summer learning loss.

𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗

✏️ 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟭 
Students will tackle multisyllabic words and explore how prefixes and suffixes change word meanings. They will also practice fluency techniques and work on commonly misspelled words to improve accuracy and confidence in writing.

📝 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟮
We shift to grammar and comprehension, where students will review parts of speech, sentence types, and strategies for identifying main ideas, supporting details, and making inferences.

📚 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟯
Students will explore text features and structures, learning how different types of writing are organized. They will also work on expanding their sentences with more detail and strengthening their vocabulary by studying synonyms and antonyms.

📒 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟰
We’ll have fun with homophones, ensuring students understand words that sound the same but have different meanings. The course will wrap up with a creative writing activity, where students will use a graphic organizer to plan and write their own narrative.

Students will have plenty of opportunities to interact with both the teacher and their peers. Everyone gets a turn to participate, ask questions, and showcase their skills during class exercises and activities. My teaching style is all about keeping it fun yet productive—so students will enjoy learning while making real progress. Lessons will include:
