Students will learn how to draw their favorite Pokémon by breaking them down into simpler shapes and details, and will aim to master the iconic Pokémon art style.
Art is a lifelong passion, and my journey with art started in middle school. I have worked in many different media, but my favorites are sketching, drawing, and photography. I’ve been keeping sketchbooks for nearly 20 years, and they’ve helped me document my journey with art, as well as important milestones in my life. In addition to traditional fine arts, I've always had an interest in animation, and have learned many animation styles and techniques that are useful. I want to help learners find their artistic passion and help them do the same.
In order to participate in class, learners will need the following supplies: - Pencil(s) and a good eraser - Paper - Coloring supplies (colored pencils, markers, crayons, etc.)

Pokémon is a family-friendly game that is rated E for Everyone. Students will be viewing Pokémon content via screen share, where the instructor will be presenting a quick Google Slides presentation showing different pieces of Pokémon art.
