Knowing and recognizing sight words is one of the key components to become a fluent reader. 
In this 15 minute class we will build sight word recognition while playing a fun game. 
Each learner will be given a printable bingo sheet. No two learners will receive the same sheet. 
I will begin the class by explaining the rules, and showing the learners my word cards. 
Then I will put the cards in a hat and draw them out randomly.
Each time I draw a word, I will say it and pause to let learners find it. Then I will show it, repeating the word aloud, and give them a second chance to find it on their sheet. We will play until one person has filled up their bingo sheet, or to the end of our 15 minutes. 
The winners will be sent a printable coloring sheet. The picture will be of a bird :) 

There are no themes, or weekly differences--aside from what bingo card your learner receives. We will play bingo every time we meet. Your learner will need access to a printer in order to print out the bingo sheet, and a marker or tokens (pennies, beads, M&Ms...) to mark their squares.
