초보자를 위한 독일어 4 - 1:1 튜터링

German class 4 - School edition is for students that have completed the first 3 classes. The next 24 sessions will introduce students to school subjects and have communication with others. The class is intended to get you started with all the right vocabulary to make your day in school easier. 
In this class we will jump right in and not only learn common school words but also how to use them in full sentences. Vocabulary covered in this course will range from morning introductions to math words, science, german class, and PE. Some of the Vocabulary from previous sessions will be introduced again to include different pronouns as well as complete sentences and communication structure. 
The class will be taught in English and German to make the experience as immersive as possible. 

Subjects we will cover over the 24 meeting times:

Greetings - role play
The classroom
Vocabulary for Math class ex: math teacher, plus, minus, numbers, time etc.
Vocabulary for German class ex: verbs, adjectives
Vocabulary for P.E. class ex: different sports, items used
Vocabulary for Geography ex: continents 
Vocabulary for science class ex: biology, animals
Forming sentences with learned vocabulary - What are you doing on Monday? I am playing soccer. He is riding his bike. 
Getting dressed for school

Pronouns

This is a course that will meet 24 times. If available the class can be taken up to 5 times per week, meaning Monday - Friday. I usually recommend 3 times per week so that students have time to study the material on their own for a day before starting the next class. If the class is taken 3 times a week the course is 8 weeks long. Please reach out and make prior arrangements on how many classes a week you want your child to take. For listing reasons this class will be listed as a 8 week course. 

This course is a one-on-one class designed for 1 child at a time. This gives your child a personal experience where they can learn without other interruptions, at their speed. 

Class will be taught over zoom. I will share slideshows created for that day and provide them with pronunciation help and the correct way of spelling and writing. Depending on your child's age, they might get asked to write the word on the screen or share something that shows what we just talked about. Ex: something green. 

After each class, your child will receive a digital handout that will help them study the material for that class. It is highly recommended to go over the material multiple times before the next class to make sure that the vocabulary is practiced as much as possible.
