In this ongoing course, learners will be able to identify the location of specific geologic features or areas. Learners will be able to describe some of the characteristics of each feature in geologic terms.

As a geologist, I have had the opportunity to travel to different places and learn about geology in a hands on environment rather than just through a book. My work experience and educational background will enhance the learner outcome as we have our online meetings.

Although there is no assigned homework in this course, learners are always welcome to bring ideas or teacher approved materials to class to add to the discussion each week. Learners may also make suggestions for other places and geologic features that they are interested in learning about and bringing into the class discussions at some point. Please send me a message if you have specific ideas and locations that interest you so that I can compile the relevant material.

We may utilize relevant videos from Youtube or materials from the USGS as relevant to the course. If there are any changes in material, the teacher will post them in advance of the affected lesson(s).
