Each week students will learn about a different location that the Octonauts have visited. Students will learn to identify specific locations on a map and use cardinal directions. Students will learn to identify continents, oceans, islands, seas, rivers, and more. They will learn about the unique characteristics of plant and animal life in the various places they "visit." And, each week all this learning will take place in the context of an adventure with their favorite Octonauts characters. This is an ongoing class with no set end date, please feel free to join and leave at any time! Each week can stand alone, but I often reference past "adventures" and what we've learned. Current Schedule: April 2- Australia April 9- Antarctica April 16- Europe April 23- South America April 30- North America May 7- Africa May 14- Asia May 21- New Zealand May 28- ON BREAK June 4- Galapagos Islands
