수업 소개
I will be teaching your child to bake peanut butter granola from a family recipe. We will cover baking utensils needed and they will know how to use measuring cups, measuring spoons, mixing bowl, wooden spoon, spatula and jelly roll pan with parchment paper or foil as a liner. I am very interactive in this class and model every activity for them. They will be able to ask questions and I will check on them throughout the class to make sure they understand each step. We will be using the microwave and oven, so I need parental supervision. No prior knowledge is required.

Students will learn how to mix ingredients in the proper order, prepare the baking pan and preheat the oven to the correct temperature. Also, they will put the granola on the baking pan and have a parent place in the oven or supervise them.
Then, they will enjoy the fruits of their labor, by eating and sharing their granola.

In this class, there are ingredients that may be problematic for those with dairy and nut allergies. Butter is used as well as the optional ingredient, pecans. Oats may be allergens to some.
Parental supervision is needed when the granola is put into the oven and removed for stirring at 15 minutes, and removing the finished granola upon completion of baking time.
The nuts can be chopped ahead of time, or chopped pecans or almonds can be purchased already chopped.
