This semester long course covers the first half of first grade math. My classes are interactive and fun. I like to engage the children and we all problem solve together. I use props, a whiteboard, and fun animated PowerPoint slides during my lessons. Each week we may have 1 or 2 problems or a worksheet to do at home. We will discuss this during class. I will send out a homework sheet (if necessary) and we will review the homework at the beginning of the next lesson. Homework is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. I will send out feedback to the parents at the end of the semester. I will check in with the parents sooner if the learner is struggling in a specific area. I always welcome questions/comments during the semester.제공되는 성적
The learners will need to print some worksheets at home. They should always have a notebook and pencil. Blocks of any kind (same length/size, different lengths/colors), and something to count (Cheerios, M&Ms, etc). I will send out an email ahead of time if materials are needed for the next class.
