Let's be creative and enjoy the process! 

In this ongoing class we will create arts and crafts projects using common art materials and household items. Learner creativity and artistic individuality will be encouraged. Supply list will vary each week and will be posted in the classroom. 

Class structure:
1) Greetings, material checklist, introduction to activity 
2) Step-by-step instructions as we create our art/craft
- Taking creative liberties will be encouraged
- Learners will not be required to create a project identical to my example
- We will focus on being creative, having fun and enjoying the process of making something new  
3) Time provided for sharing learner’s creations - learner's will not be required to share, but will be encouraged to share if they want to
4) Wrap-up/Goodbyes

Week of August 28, 2023: Sunset Cactus Painting 
Week of September 4, 2023: Donut Painting 
Week of September 11, 2023: Watermelon Painting 
Week of September 18, 2023: Tissue Paper Art
Week of September 25, 2023: Sunflower Painting 
Week of October 2, 2023: Landscape Painting 
Week of October 9, 2023: Pineapple Painting 



Typical Supply List:
- Paint (washable or acrylic)
- Paper (mixed media or cardstock)
- Paint brushes 
- Paint tray or paper plate 
- Paper towel and water as needed for clean up 

Some weeks may include:
- Yarn
- Glue
- Empty toilet paper roll
- Cotton swabs 
- Plastic fork
