In this one-time class your child will be able to attend the class dressed up in their favorite costume. We will then program a robot to go to different toucan character's homes to go trick or treating. Your child will tell me the directions (code) that will get the robot to a toucan of their choice. Your child will learn the basic steps in programming my robot Botley. They will think through all the steps to reach the goal and communicate these steps to me. They will work on direction giving from the view of the robot. Your child will collaborate to achieve the challenges where needed.
1. Masks are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies. 2. Please note that costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.). Thank you!
