I bring over 8+ years of teaching experience and a deep passion for bilingual education, particularly with young learners. My journey with Spanish began through immersive cultural experiences as I lived in Spanish-speaking countries for over three years—including Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala. During this time, I not only developed fluency in the language but also gained a deep appreciation for the rich cultures that Spanish-speaking communities have to offer.

In addition, I am married to a Colombian Spanish speaker, which has allowed me to further strengthen my understanding of both everyday conversational Spanish and cultural nuances. These experiences have equipped me with unique insights into how to make Spanish learning both fun and meaningful for young children.

I am also a TEFL-certified teacher, which means I have specialized training in teaching English as a foreign language, further enhancing my ability to teach languages effectively. As a certified teacher with a degree in Child and Youth Development, I have worked with young learners for 8+ years in various educational settings, both in person and online. I have taught Spanish to children using interactive, play-based methods, ensuring that every lesson is engaging and accessible. My experience includes teaching children aged 3-6 in bilingual environments, where I’ve used games, songs, videos, and hands-on activities to spark their love of language learning.
