Welcome to my ongoing crochet beginners class! I'm so happy you're here! In this ongoing class students will make fun new things and practice their skills every week. We will make make easy projects that they can easily repeat after class. They will build on their skills and speed, practice what they already know, and learn new stitches and techniques with each lesson. PREREQUISITES: Learners who join this class should be proficient in making all the basic stitches and have some experience...
- Students will be able to practice their crochet skills, learn new concepts and challenge themselves to extend their abilities and diligence in creating completed projects.
I have enjoyed the art of crochet since I was about 10 years old....for about 4 decades! I love this craft, it brings me joy and I consider it a privilege to share it with others.

Learners need to have well developed basic crochet skills to succeed in this class. I have 2 one-time classes and an absolute beginner available to help your learner get started.
Basic materials needed: 1-2 skeins or more of medium weight acrylic yarn in a light color if possible (lighter colors are clearer on camera) A crochet hook (about a 5mm to 6mm or a size suitable for the yarn) A darning/yarn needle Scissors Stitch markers Stuffing They may also need safety eyes (optional) Files with the patterns and materials will also be available to view, save, and/or print.
Scissor will be used in class. Supervision will be left to the discretion of the parents. Also, if safety eyes are used on the amigurumi projects, please keep in mind that they can be a choking hazard for small children.
