프랑스어 102 - 학기 수업

Bonjour!  Je M'appelle Madame Cristina!!  Comment t'appelles-tu?  Quel est votre nom?

Learners will gain a comprehensive knowledge of the French language in a flexible interactive setting.  We will cover all of the items that would be covered in a French I, part II level course of study in High School.

My teaching style is to combine visual aids and hands on activities to attend to the different learning abilities of all those in the class.
Not only will students learn basic vocabulary but there will also be an emphasis on French culture.  

 Learners will complete and submit assignments, play games in the OutSchool classroom (via a Kahoot or Nearpod link) and practice their French with fellow classmates.   Each week there will be a question and answer section at the end of class. 

Items will build from week to week and we will begin each class answering questions in French from the week before. By the end of the course, learners will be speaking, reading and writing basic French and able to share details about themselves in French.

Week 1: Review of French I class and determine what level students are in the language.
Week 2: Les Amis- Singular and Plural, Masculine and Feminine
Week 3:  Les verbes reguliers en -e; Les verbes irreguliers aller, avoir, faire
Week 4: La Nourriture - Vocabulary and Class Project
Week 5:  Mid Review by Kahoot.
Week 6: Adjectifs, Vocabulaire et prononciation
Week 7: A Quelle Heure? -Telling Time
Week 8: La Maison - Vocabulary and Class Project
Week 9: Write a short assignment of items learned. Share writing assignments and provide feedback for improvement.
Week 10: Review and Kahoot or Jeopardy Game

Learners require previous language experience. Students will have the opportunity to work on worksheets during class and outside of class time for maximum retention.

 A letter grade can be provided, by request, at the end of the semester based on participation and completion of work.
