The goal of Forensic Handwriting is to pinpoint and answer questions about a suspicious document. In order to determine authorship or the suspect of a crime, there are a variety of methods used. Each of us has a unique handwriting. Our Handwriting is as unique as a fingerprint. In this course, we will examine all aspects of handwriting, forgery, counterfeiting and how criminals use it to attempt to get away with a crime. I am a Licensed Educator. Alongside my credentials to teach, I also hold a Masters of Science in Criminal and Social Justice. I currently teach two online Criminal Justice Courses (college). Throughout this course, handwriting is depicted using imagery. We will also view 2 Forensic Files videos that depict the analysis of handwriting in a murder. Please feel free to reach out if you would like substitution for a particular topic/week. Articles are condensed and edited to make the reading of material appropriate for Middle to high school students
