수업 소개
The objective of this class is to get your learner thinking and listening to music a little differently...closer to how a musician hears music. Over the last 17 years of teaching 8 different music instruments, I've learned a few specific instructional techniques that help learners develop a deeper appreciation of music. One of those techniques is what I call "Rich Listening". Rich Listening has a student carefully decomposing elements of song structure, melodic phrasing, chord sentences and instrumental ratios. During this one day course, learners will get to choose one song they would like to use as part of an exercise. The exercise will help learners compartmentalize and analyze music just as a song writer would. Participants will learn: 1. Fundamental vocabulary for describing song parts 2. Melodic Layering 3. Tempo & BPM's This class is perfect for students who have no musical background as well as those who already play a musical instrument.
