Would you rather paint a picture or learn about a famous artist? In this class, you can do both. You will learn a little about Vincent Van Gogh and then use his art to inspire our own acrylic painting using tin foil/aluminum foil as a canvas. Each learner should choose their own paint colors. Learners will learn to create a piece of art using aluminum foil and acrylic paints to create a piece of art in the style of Van Gogh's Starry Night painting.
During my 30 year brick and mortar teaching experience, I have taught all academic areas for grades K-5 including Art and STEAM. During this time I have taught foil painting to well over 1000 students.
Aluminum/Tin foil Acrylic paints- any colors that the child prefers should be used Paintbrushes or cotton swabs for painting with Cup of water Paper towel Cardboard to wrap the foil around while painting Smile
