In this ongoing class, the students will review five CVC words and work on reading a passage using the five CVC words mixed with simple words such as my, on, here, is, the, etc. **Fluency is the ability to read a text accurately, quickly, and with expression. Reading fluency is important because it provides a bridge between word recognition and comprehension. *The order of the class will go as follows: *1. Introduction of CVC word family (at, id, ug, etc.) *2. Google Slides practice/review *3. Take turns reading the five words of the day pointing to each one on their own worksheet *4. Read together the passage for the day. *5. While one student is writing their favorite sentence from the passage, the other student will be reading the passage with me three times. *6. Goodbyes **The class size is small to give time for the students to get more individual and group work together. **I will have a reading passage for class. :) **I provide one-on-one classes as well and esl students are always welcomed to join too! ** My teaching style is organized and full of fun while being relaxed and friendly at the same time.
