Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 5
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this self-paced course, learners will create eight Pokémon drawings. The drawings are especially great for students who enjoy ghost Pokémon or Halloween. A list of drawings by week can be found in the 𝙎𝙮𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙨 section. Students will need a pencil, eraser, paper and something to color in with, like colored pencils or markers.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮 “𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱” 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
There are no live sessions. There are eight recordings available. The recordings show my step-by-step instructions on how to draw each Pokémon. During the recordings, I have different screens visible, so that students can see me speaking at the start of each recording and then watch my hands as I draw and create. This allows learners to follow along with my instructions. I break each step down, so artists of all levels are welcome! Students have the ability to pause each recording, as needed. The recordings range from 15-35, with an average length of 20 minutes.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿:
Discussions with the teacher takes place via the classroom message board or private message. I provide feedback on all submitted work within 0-48 hours, although I usually reply in less than 24 hours. My feedback is always positive to encourage young artists to keep creating! Please reach out with any questions!
Learning Goals
