Do you like to talk? Would you like to learn how to write a podcast? Would you like to learn how to record and/or publish a podcast? If the answer is YES - then this is class for you. In this four-week Flex Course we will cover different genres of podcasting, creating a podcast show themes, creating a title, how to write a podcast, how to record a podcast, and with parent approval our class can learn how to publish a podcast as well. The course will cover three different recording softwares,...
Students taking the podcasting class will learn a wide range of skills. Students will learn about different podcast genres. Public communication and speaking skills will be examine as well (delivery, tone, pitch, volume). This class will also provide skills in writing specifically to writing a podcast show (but some of the skills can be used for writing papers). The main topics focus on public speaking in the recording podcast format, technology for recording and publishing a podcast, creating a podcast, and publishing a podcast.
